Time and LGMS partner to advance Malaysia’s trusted cybersecurity ecosystem

• Partnership combines trusted digital infrastructure, managed SOC capabilities & local cybersecurity expertise
• Collaboration strengthens cyber resilience through an integrated cybersecurity framework for enterprises & the public sector

TT dotCom Sdn Bhd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Time dotCom Berhad, and LGMS Berhad have signed a Memorandum of Collaboration (MoC) at the National Cyber Security Summit (NCSS) 2026 to strengthen Malaysia’s cybersecurity ecosystem through trusted digital infrastructure, local cybersecurity expertise and integrated security operations. The MoC was witnessed by Ir. Dr. Megat Zuhairy Megat Tajuddin, chief executive, National Cyber Security Agency (NACSA), and Zainal Amanshah, executive director, TT dotCom Sdn Bhd.

As Malaysian organisations accelerate cloud adoption, artificial intelligence initiatives and digital transformation, cybersecurity has become a critical enabler of resilience, trust and economic competitiveness.

Through the collaboration, Time and LGMS will combine Time’s trusted digital infrastructure, secure connectivity, Managed SOC capabilities and network intelligence with LGMS’ cybersecurity advisory, governance, risk and compliance, security assessment, threat intelligence and incident response expertise.

Malaysia’s evolving cybersecurity landscape, including the implementation of the Cyber Security Act 2024 and the increased emphasis on National Critical Information Infrastructure (NCII) resilience, has intensified the need for locally relevant, operationally ready cybersecurity capabilities.

Together, Time and LGMS aim to establish an integrated cybersecurity framework tailored to Malaysia’s regulatory, operational and threat environment. The framework is intended to help enterprises, public sector organisations and regulated industries strengthen cyber resilience, improve operational readiness and support secure digital transformation.

The collaboration will focus on five strategic areas:

• Joint cybersecurity go-to-market initiatives to accelerate cybersecurity adoption across Malaysian enterprises and public sector organisations.
• Development of an integrated cybersecurity collaboration framework spanning advisory, Managed SOC, continuous monitoring and incident response.
• Strengthening Malaysia’s digital sovereignty through locally hosted infrastructure, sovereign AI capabilities and Malaysian cybersecurity expertise.
• Capability development through knowledge exchange, skills development and operational readiness initiatives.
• Joint innovation in AI-powered cybersecurity technologies, threat intelligence, security analytics and advanced security operations.
