foodpanda Malaysia has appointed Kenneth Soh (pic) as managing director, as the company sharpens its focus on food delivery, grocery and quick commerce in Malaysia.
In his new role, Soh will oversee business strategy and operations across the country, with a focus on expanding the platform’s merchant network, strengthening partnerships and enhancing customer experience.
Soh brings extensive leadership experience from Southeast Asia’s digital economy. He joins from PropertyGuru Group, where he served as country manager for Malaysia, leading the growth of the PropertyGuru and iProperty platforms. He previously held senior leadership roles at Shopee Malaysia, overseeing platform growth, marketing and commercial development.
His appointment comes as foodpanda continues to expand beyond food delivery into groceries and everyday essentials, reflecting broader shifts in consumer demand for on-demand services. The platform currently connects millions of users with restaurants, grocery partners and local businesses across Malaysia.
Commenting on his appointment, Soh said, “Malaysians today are looking for more than just convenience. They want a reliable partner for their daily needs.” “We will continue to focus on improving operational efficiency, enhancing customer experience, and supporting our merchants and delivery partners,” he added.
