Fastly steps up its Asia expansion with appointment of Rachel Ler as area vice president of Asia

Fastly, Inc., a leading global edge cloud platform, has appointed Rachel Ler( pic) as area vice president of Asia, overseeing the company’s business across Asean, Greater China, and South Korea. In a statement, Fastly said Ler will focus on driving growth, strengthening customer and partner relationships, and advancing the company’s strategic expansion across these fast-growing markets.

Ler brings over 20 years of experience in enterprise technology and regional leadership across Asia Pacific, having held senior roles at Commvault and Versa Networks, where she drove sustainable growth through customer-focused strategies, solution innovation, and strong partner ecosystems. She has led teams across diverse APAC markets, building scalable go-to-market strategies and delivering consistent growth for global technology organisations.

This includes supporting customers across Singapore, the Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, South Korea, and Greater China to modernise digital platforms, enhance application security, and deliver low-latency experiences.
