The Selangor Twin Accelerator Programme 2025, hosted by the Selangor Information Technology and Digital Economy Corporation (Sidec), concluded with its Final Demo Day, celebrating startups from the Deep-X and Retail-X tracks. From AI and smart city innovations to F&B and retail scale-ups, 24 finalists out of 338 applicants pitched their ideas before a panel of judges, investors, corporates, and ecosystem leaders.
Gracing the event were Ng Sze Han, Selangor State executive councillor for Investment, Trade & Mobility; Loo Chuan Boon, chief operating officer of Sidec; Fung Kai Jin, executive director of Group Enterprise Banking at Affin Bank Berhad; and Norman Matthieu Vanhaecke, Group CEO of Cradle Fund. Their presence underscored Selangor’s whole-of-ecosystem approach — bridging government, finance, and early-stage innovation to help founders progress from prototype to product and regional scale.
Built around two parallel tracks, the programme nurtures both deep tech ventures and retail innovators. Deep-X supports startups in AI, smart mobility, bio-based, and net-zero technologies with mentorship and investor readiness, while Retail-X accelerates consumer-facing SMEs in F&B, lifestyle, and wellness through brand, channel, and market access strategies.

Winners will receive trophies, cash prizes, investment access, and Innovation Trips – Deep-X winners to Korea and Retail-X winners to ByteDance (TikTok Shop) in Shanghai.
“These winners prove Malaysia can build, brand, and scale globally from Selangor, whether in AI-driven deep tech or fast-growing retail,” said Yong Kai Ping, CEO of Sidec. “This cohort stands out for disciplined execution, guided by mentors, evaluated by experienced judges, and supported by partners who open real markets.”
The next Selangor Twin Accelerator Programme cohort opens in January 2026. Founders can register their interest through Sidec’s official channels.
