Sophos appoints Amy Chua as director, channels for Asean and Korea

Sophos, a global cybersecurity leader, has appointed Amy Chua (pic) as channels director for Asean and Korea, reinforcing the cybersecurity company’s focus on partner-led growth across the region.

In her new role, Chua will lead Sophos’ partner strategy and execution across Asean and Korea, with a focus on strengthening the company’s regional distributor and partner ecosystem amid rising cybersecurity demands and increasingly complex threat landscapes.

She will oversee regional channel development, sales governance and go-to-market initiatives aimed at helping partners scale cybersecurity solutions and deliver stronger customer outcomes.

“Asean and Korea remain important growth markets for Sophos, and our partners play a central role in how we scale and deliver stronger cybersecurity outcomes for customers,” said Chad Cleevely, senior director of channel sales, Asia Pacific and Japan at Sophos.

“We are delighted to welcome a leader of Amy’s calibre to the team. She brings a strong understanding of the channel, a clear operational mindset and the leadership needed to strengthen our partner ecosystem and build further momentum across the region.”

Leveraging her experience in data and analytics, Chua will also support Sophos’ expansion in AI-driven cybersecurity, helping partners navigate evolving threats through more intelligent and data-led security strategies.

Chua brings more than 20 years of experience across the technology sector, with expertise in partner-led growth, channel development and regional market expansion. Prior to joining Sophos, she held leadership roles at Google and Microsoft.

Her appointment further strengthens Sophos’ regional channel leadership as the company continues expanding partner engagement across Asean and Korea.
