Mistral AI accelerates Singapore expansion with strategic partnership and industry collaborations

Mistral AI has announced its expansion in Singapore through a strategic partnership with HTX and collaborations with Singtel, NCS and ST Engineering to advance local AI capabilities across public and enterprise sectors. By combining independent infrastructure with its models, the company aims to deliver customisable AI solutions that support secure and responsible deployment in mission-critical environments.

This reflects the company’s commitment to Singapore’s AI growth and the broader Asia Pacific region.

Mistral AI and the Home Team Science and Technology Agency (HTX) have signed a Strategic Partnership for Innovation master agreement at the Milipol TechX Summit 2026 to develop AI capabilities for Singapore’s public safety sector.

Under the partnership, Mistral AI will provide infrastructure to support high-performance inference and fine-tuning, along with developer tools to enable rapid and secure application development. The collaboration will also focus on identifying new solutions to enhance Home Team operations and strengthen technical capabilities through training.

Mistral AI has also signed Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with Singtel, NCS and ST Engineering to expand its ecosystem and accelerate AI deployment across enterprise and mission-critical environments. These partnerships will enable organisations to develop high-impact use cases through secure infrastructure and responsible deployment frameworks.

With Singtel, through its sovereign AI cloud business RE:AI, Mistral AI will support the development of industry-specific use cases across sectors such as financial services, defence and healthcare. The partners also plan to establish an Applied AI Centre of Excellence to co-create secure AI environments and accelerate deployment.

Mistral AI and NCS will deliver AI solutions for organisations operating in highly regulated environments, combining system integration expertise with customisable AI models to support secure and reliable deployment.

Mistral AI is also expanding its collaboration with ST Engineering to integrate agentic fact-checking capabilities into AGIL® Trust, enhancing the detection of deepfakes and misinformation for public security applications.

The expansion underscores Mistral AI’s growing presence in Singapore and its focus on building local capabilities while scaling AI adoption across Asia Pacific.
